The main material is cotton and can be washed. The ideal is hand-washing. If you wish to wash it in a washing machine , please take off the parts such as leather handles if possible, put the item in a mesh laundry bag, use a mild detergent and run it at a delicate/gentle cycle. Never put it in a dryer to dry, but reshape the item into its original shape and hang in the shade.

Please be aware that certain items have leather parts whose texture may change when washed with water.

クロシェット商品のお手入れについて

主にコットンの糸を使用していますので、お洗濯が可能です。

手洗いが理想ですが、洗濯機を使用する場合は取り外し可能な部分（革持ち手など）を外し、洗濯ネットに入れて中性洗剤を使用し、弱水流で洗ってください。型を整えて干すことが大切です。直射日光は避けて干してください。

なお、革を使用したもののお洗濯をされる場合は、革の質感が変わることをご了解の上お取り扱いください。

silver jewelry items

kunci 's jewelry are very delicate due to the small parts. Please handle gently so as not pull or bend the chain.

Silver items may become tarnished over time as its chemical reaction to contact with sulfur in the air and sweat.

If it is tarnished only slightly, you can clean it by washing with mild detergent, dry it with a piece of dry cloth and polish

with silver polishing cloth.

Some of the items are given rhodium coating to make a platinum-like look. Rhodium is same type of metal as platinum with gloss-looking, excellent strength and corrosion resistance. Many of silver products in the today’s market are often coated with rhodium to prevent oxidation that causes blackening and dullness on the surface.

シルバー製品のお取り扱いとお手入れ

当店のアクセサリーは、小さいパーツのデリケートな商品です。

チェーンなど引っ張ったり折り曲げたりしないよう、優しく扱ってください。

シルバー製品は、空気中や汗などに含まれる硫化物質に反応し「硫化」することで黒ずみが起きます。使用後は乾いた布で拭き、

空気に触れないよう保管することをお勧めします。

多少の黒ずみは中性洗剤で洗い、乾いた布で拭き、シルバークロスで磨き、黒ずみがひどい場合は専用クリーナーの使用をお勧めします。

また、一部の商品にはプラチナのような仕上がり感をもつ、ロジウムコーティングを施しています。ロジウムはプラチナ金属の仲間で、

光沢、強度、耐食性に優れています。

（ 近年販売されているシルバー製品は、表面の酸化による黒変やくすみ防止のためロジウムコーティングしているものが多くなっています ）

gold-plated items

kunci’s gold plate products are 3 micron 18 karat or 22 Karat gold plated over silver while common gold-plating are done over other base metals such as brass.

In order to maintain it in a good condition as long as possible, use a soft cloth with no abrasives after each use. Gold plate may also tarnish due to the contact with skin and sweat. Please wash with mild detergent before it gets too dirty. If the mild detergent is not enough, put the jewelry in water with a little toothpaste and brush gently with soft toothbrush. 

The plate will wear off over time but it is possible to re-plate the jewelry. So if you feel your jewelry has worn out and look dull and cannot be clean by the daily maintenance mentioned above, you may want to consider re-gold-plating it.

ゴールドプレート製品のお手入れ

当店のゴールドプレート製品は、地金シルバーに18金または22金３ミクロンのメッキを施しています。（一般的なメッキ商品は、地金に真鍮やその他の金属を使用しています）

良い状態を保つためにも、使用後は研磨剤の含まない柔らかい布で拭いてから保管してください。

金メッキも汗や皮脂などの汚れで黒ずみます。汚れがひどくなる前に中性洗剤で洗ってください。それでも落ちない場合は、歯磨き粉を水に溶いた液体のなかで、柔らかい歯ブラシで軽くこすり洗いをしてください。

メッキ製品は長い間には少しずつ剥がれてしまいますが、メッキのやり直しが可能です。日々のお手入れできれいにならなかったり、剥がれてきたなと感じたときには、メッキのし直しをご検討ください。当店でも承ります。
